Welcome to our website! The Center for Court Approved Counseling is dedicated to providing services that are affordable, convenient and effective as possible. We have a passion for the work we do and we want to help you make the most of your counseling experience.
If you’re required by the court to attend an evaluation and treatment, I can only imagine how you must feel. If you’re like many people I see each day that are referred by the court, you are feeling overwhelmed with fees, appointments, juggling the demands of work and family, time consuming errands and the fear of legal consequences if you don’t comply. We are not the judge, the police, the DFCS caseworker, probation officer or others who make such demands on you. Our job is to help you through this difficult time with the support, guidance, skills and emotional healing to take your life into a more positive direction.
Perhaps you have a history of troubled relationships, a problem managing your anger, a drinking or drug problem, low self esteem, depression or anxiety. I am convinced that life has a way of getting your good attention at times to bring about positive change. Do you see such a pattern in your life? If so, now is a good time to stop running and take advantage of this time to work on you. If you must do it anyway, why not make the most of it.
The programs described here can offer you an opportunity to participate in a safe, supportive environment to work on your issues with a trained professional.
