Substance Abuse Education Program
The substance abuse education program is held on the 1st Saturday of each month, 9 am - 4 pm with an hour for lunch from 12 noon - 1 pm. If the 1st Saturday is a holiday weekend, the class may be scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of the month. In this case, call to be sure.
The program covers four basic segments: The effects of drug and alcohol use, levels of addiction, dysfunctional roles in addictive families and the process of recovery. The program includes lecture, video, discussion and question and answer session.
Persons being referred by the court or mandated by any other referral source must complete an evaluation prior to coming to class unless approved by their referral source. The cost is $75. You may call our office at 678-796-1035 to get started.
